Event 1. 20km Classic A range of terrain and tracks. Est time 1-2.5 hours. Marked with standards & spray paint. Restricted to 14 yrs+
Event 2. 12km Sport Relatively flat mountain bike riding on 4WD/grass tracks, suitable for 8 yrs upwards, Est time -1hour.
Event 3 6 km Recreational Approx 6km, run on the same track as the 9km event. Est. time 30min-45min.
Information & Rules:
You must wear a safety approved helmet. Bikes must be in fit working order. 3 layers of clothing recommended. Wool or polyprop on upper body & carry wind proof parka, gloves & hat. Riders must carry sufficient water & food with you. All riders must be self sufficient. Puncture repair kit and tools responsibility of riders. Marshalls will be stationed throughout the course with communication for emergencies. Each event will have a‘Tail-end Charlie’ to bring up the rear.

Waiver: In acceptance of my entry form I do hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators and assignees release and forever discharge the organizers, the sponsors and all persons involved in the conduct of the 2010 Fiordland Fog Buster from all claims or actions whatsoever in any manner arising out of my participation in this event. I attest and verify that I am fully aware of the risks involved in participation and that I have no physical or medical conditions which have the potential to put myself or any person at risk and that I am sufficiently trained for the event and that my equipment is in good order and conforms to the ‘Race Rules’. I agree to abide by the organisers’ rules as outlined on the ‘Entry Form’, ‘Race Briefing’ and accept any decision or direction given by them, I have familiarised myself with the course map. I allow sponsors/ organizers to use my name and /or photograph for promotional purposes.
